Terms of Service

By installing, accessing, or using the LongDraft platform and related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

LongDraft is a long-form AI writing assistant designed to help users create professional documents. The Service provides the following key capabilities:

• Bring Your Own Model (BYOM): Users configure and use their own AI models. We provide the software interface, not the AI model itself.
• Rich Content Support: Support for LaTeX formulas, tables, charts, and images.
• Document Management: Integrated document library and search functionality.
• Smart Writing: AI-assisted writing, editing, and content generation.
• Export: One-click export to standard Word documents (.docx) with preserved formatting.

As LongDraft operates on a "Bring Your Own Model" basis:

• You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid access to any third-party AI models or APIs you use with the Service.
• You are responsible for any costs associated with your use of third-party AI models.
• You must comply with the terms of service of any third-party AI providers you connect to LongDraft.
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or output quality of the models you configure.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Infringe upon the rights of others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others.

LongDraft offers various subscription plans for access to the software platform. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by law. Note that your subscription fee covers the use of the LongDraft software only and does NOT include costs for third-party AI model usage.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Since you provide your own model configurations, your data interactions with third-party model providers are governed by your agreements with those providers. LongDraft does not store your model API keys permanently on our servers; they are stored locally or in your secure session.

The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated content), features, and functionality are owned by LongDraft and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service.

In no event shall LongDraft, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Specifically, LongDraft is not liable for:

• The content generated by the AI models you configure.
• Any costs, errors, or service interruptions caused by third-party model providers.
• Data leaks or security issues resulting from your mishandling of your own API keys.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
